Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to our White Rock / South Surrey Campus in beautiful British Columbia. We are one of the smaller Spirit of Math campuses; however, we continue to bring high quality teaching of mathematics and a well-rounded program for students in the neighbourhood.

Our students are always eager to learn new concepts and look forward to tackling new challenges that come their way. The Grade K – 6s experience an exciting and engaging environment to develop their logical and critical thinking. Working together with other peers in their class, the students are able to discuss, discover, and solve complex problems and dig deeper into each topic to grasp the core essence of the program.

The parents who bring their students to Spirit of Math Schools are essential to the success of the campus. They work together with our excellent team of teachers to help students reach their full potential. Our committed parents work with the students to ensure their understanding of the concept is correct and complete outside of class time. This allows the students to be able to consolidate the ideas at home.

Another main component of this campus is our wonderful teachers. All of our teachers are dedicated to providing the best education for the students and ensuring to help them reach their potential. Our teachers work with the parents to ensure that each student is given the opportunity for success. When the teachers are not in the classroom teaching, they are crafting the right questions to ‘pull’ the ideas from the students thus ensuring there is a sense of discovery in the classrooms.

We have an exciting year ahead of us and I cannot wait to embark on this new journey with all of you. Please call our office today to schedule an interview. I look forward to another year of releasing the inner genius in every child with our teachers and parents.

Sincerely Yours,

Davor Egersdorfer
Campus Director, White Rock / South Surrey Campus

What our parents & students say!

  • Fiona C.: "If you’re thinking about enrolling your child in Spirit of Math and you’re not sure, I would wholeheartedly recommend you to do so. After moving to Canada and a new school, our son was not getting the grades he used to in math and had appeared to have lost interest in the subject. The work was building up and getting to the point where he was falling behind. His teacher at Spirit of Math was patient; they worked together, and gave encouragement along the way with him hitting his goals. He was warned there would be work to do at home as well as in class, but I don’t think he was prepared for how much. As parents, we were also involved ensuring he was on top of this work and performing the assignments set. It's a great program because of the collaborative method and, they really delve into each topic before moving on to the next topic. There is a definite improvement in his ability to handle numbers and problem solving. His recent report card shows a significant increase in his grade for math, which prior to his enrollment in this program was something we did not expect. We can’t thank the staff at the Surrey campus enough for helping our son achieve his goals for the year.” ~ Fiona C., parent of grade 5 student
