Iryna was born, on “Teacher’s Day”, into a family of educators in Ukraine. It was there that she earned a Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science. After coming to Canada, she also earned a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University. Some of her teaching experiences over the years include: summer camp counseling, teaching and tutoring Math, Science and Computing, and working as a teacher assistant at Queen’s University. Iryna’s primary goals are to ensure student success and provide a safe and stimulating learning environment. She is passionate about Math and excited to pursue her teaching career at Spirit of Math.
