I was born in Romania and earned a degree in Mathematics along with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Bucharest. I have 14 years of experience teaching Mathematics with students ranging in age from 4 to 20. I have been studying or teaching Mathematics nearly my entire life since both of my parents are teachers as well. My mother was my teacher from Grade 1 through Grade 4 and my father was my math teacher from Grade 5 through Grade 8. My sister is a math teacher as well!
At home, I teach math to my beautiful children Tiberiu (8 years old) and Iulia (6), and in what little spare time I have, I enjoy drawing and painting.
Spirit of Math is the best thing that has happened to me since I came to Canada. It is the kind of work that I have always wanted: exciting, competitive, challenging and very rewarding.
