DAVINA HU
Grades 1, 2 and 3

Davina earned her Batchelor of Arts at University of Western Ontario and a Master of Business Administration at York University and went on to work in the banking sector. After the birth of her first child, Davina changed careers and became a full time mother and home-maker.

After helping her sons with their Spirit of Math work for four years, Davina found herself becoming interested in this challenging program. With her two sons becoming more independent, she has the opportunity to pursue her other interest in life and so she decided to take the plunge and become a teacher herself. She enjoys interacting with younger children, working with their strengths and encouraging them to learn and grow. That is why Davina is so excited to be a Spirit of Math teacher.

In her spare time, she enjoys doing artwork and has been teaching art programs to small children after school. She also likes swimming and will feel uncomfortable if she misses her daily morning swimming routine.
