RAMZAN KHUWAJA

Ramzan was born in Pakistan but has studied in three different continents. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan, Masters Degree in Computer Engineering at the Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the U.K. and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at the Illinois Institute of Thechnology in the US. Math has played a key thread in Ramzan’s educational and work life. Since 1994 he has been working in software industry in various roles.

While working with and observing his son learn Math in SMS classes, Ramzan’s love for Math education sparked him to become engaged in teaching this discipline to young minds. He considers teaching Math as one of the most fulfilling experience of his life.

|
Ramzan enjoys reading books, listening to all types of sacred music, and watching movies. Mystical Poetry is a recent addition to Ramzan’s interests. Good poetry sums up inexpressible life experiences in a few articulate words. Here is an example that Ramzan points to from Rumi’s poetry that elegantly expresses how life events should be viewed and experienced:
