Ivy is very excited to be teaching Grade 1 and 2 with Spirit of Math this year. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at York University, and has been a tutor for many years. Ivy also has experience teaching Grade 9 and 10 Mathematics as well as Chinese at a local Chinese school and has worked as a teaching assistant at a private school for two years. In addition to teaching, Ivy volunteers regularly at a community Scouts group designing and implementing a wide range of activities for children between the ages of 5 to 7.
In her free time, Ivy enjoys swimming, playing volleyball, watching movies, listening to music and spends time with her dog, Miffy.
